Sword bean ("Nata mame"), that is used in the toothpaste base, is grown without pesticides on a farm in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture. Only the “bean part” of “Nata mame” is used to obtain a high-quality extract, grown with careful cultivation methods.
